San Gimignano, is a village that rests on beautiful vegetation covered hills of Tuscany, Italy. There were 70 towers built to protect the village from invading enemies, but today only 15 still stand today. In 1348 the entire village was taken by the plague, leaving the towers preserved just as they were 700 years ago.
