Luxury Boats: Lancia didn't need any help unveiling its first powerboat but we're sure glad that supermodel Catrinel Menghia went along for the ride. The new powerboat was designed by Christian Grande and was jointly developed by Sacs, FPT, and Martini. The new powerboat has "an aggressive yet balanced profile, with a perfectly proportioned bow, cockpit and stern."
The fiberglass hull measures 13.1 meters in length, which allows the boat to carry a maximum of 11 individuals however the luxurious cabin only fits two. Fiat Powertrain Technologies (FPT) provided the boat with two 1120 hp N67-560 diesel engines, which allow the powerboat to comfortably cruise between 15 and 45 knots. Top speed is 55 knots.
Exterior features include four sunbathing mattresses, a teak bathing platform, LED accent lighting (which resembles lights used on Lancia cars), and a power retractable roof. Inside, the boat boasts a fold-away LCD television, a galley, air conditioning, and "minimalist" bathroom facilities with a LCD-lighted shower. The Lancia powerboat will be officially launched at the Genoa Boat Show.
