ABICA

“ABiCA” is a group with members Tac and Hash. Their sound has a strong mix of rap, rock and alternative. They have found a way to meld catchy hip hop rhythms with deep emotional lyrics.Their music draws directly from real life expiriences, being able to succesfully produce a variety of feel good party music all the way to strong emotional songs into a cohesive and memorable experience. Many fans say they are attracted to the ability ro relate directly to their lyrics.

Their 2007 album entitled Truth in Lies established their versatilile and ground breaking sound (feat. production from DHZ who has worked with other well known artists such as DMX and Fort Minor). This became an instant hit for people searching for something different in the oversaturated hip hop and rock scene.

After TIL, Enigma was released in early 2008. After receiving critic and fan praise for ‘TIL,’ ABiCA once again had to raise the bar with Enigma. A fan favorite with its edgy, yet insightful view of the world and their own experiences. Enigma took off where TIL left off by taking you further into the mind of Tac and Hash.

ABiCA’s next project is an album called NUMB which they plan to release in 09. Tac and Hash have told there fans, “This will be one of the hardest, deepest and one of the most brilliant albums that you will ever hear. You will not feel the same after you listen to it.” This has become one of the most anticapted albums since it
was announced in late 2007. The album has been in heavy production for a year now, they plan to release Numb towards the end of 2009. Since they are striving for perfection on this album they decided to release a
prelude CD entitled Numb prelude on Feb 10th, so that their fans wouldn’t have to wait over a year for new music from the band.

ABiCA has built a strong local and global fan base that grows every day. They have layed the
ground work for a successful and long lasting career.

ABiCA’s fourth album entitled “NUMB” is in production right now. The guy’s plan to make this their biggest and best release to date. ABiCA has been hyping up this album for the last 2 1/2 years and their fans will not be let down when it is released (they are planning on a release around the end of summer). “NUMB” will have a little more of a rock and alternative influence to the songs but still will have plenty of hip/hop rap. The songs “how much can you take” and “what i’ve become” are a preview of what the CD will sound like. This is sure to be their biggest release yet having built a big solid fan base with their previous albums.
