I understand that summer time is known for cocktail hours and BBQ’ s but make sure you are watching your alcohol consumption while you’re trying to get RIPPED.

Alcohol literally goes against every one of the tips I told you about above. After you drink you usually feel terrible so you eat junk food, not to mention the fact that alcohol itself is full of carbs and sugar. Alcohol will make you dehydrated very quickly; you’ll be lethargic after drinking, so most likely you’ll postpone your workouts.

When you drink, all that sugar goes into your blood and this will keep you tossing and turning all night. I’m not saying cut it out completely, but for now keep intake to a minimal and choose your booze wisely. If you drink beer, go for light. If you drink wine, stick to only 1-2 glasses. If you like hard liquor, watch the mixers.
