Ferrari has done it again made a car with so much raw sexual energy that no man can with stand its advances. A breathtakingly beautiful road car with its long front end and postured back makes it look like a women stretched out on a bed waiting for you to come and ravish her. This car has all the good looks that you’ve come to expect from the Italian automaker and although there is not too many differences from the GTB at least visually, Under the skin of this machine a lot of changes have taken place, with a price tag of $300,000 pounds or roughly $474,060, a hundred thousand pounds more than the standard GTB. They had to make some serious changes and they did.
The power plant is a 661 horse power V12, that puts out an incredible 457 pounds of foot torque at maxim rev’s meaning this is a fully raced tuned motor. They have increased the compression from 11.2 to 11.9 and the motor has a higher rev limit witch hits 8400 rpm. It is also equipped with an entirely new intake system as well as redesigned six into one manifold set up. With redesigned tap it, cam-loads and piston skirts providing twelve percent less friction. Equating to more horse power making sure all the power gets to the ground, is huge Michelin Pilot Super sport tires 285 in the front and 315 in the rear. The bigger tires help with under steer as well does the increased roll stiffness in the rear, keeping the front wheels planted on the ground.
Overall the car is 100 kilograms or 220 pounds lighter than the GTB and has fifty more horse power. The lighter weight comes from Ferrari’s pain staking process to lighten the whole car. The body work modifications alone save an astonishing sixty eight pounds. The modifications also include redesigned splitter and double diffusers which almost doubles the Ferrari 599 GTO’s down force. The Ferrari 599 GTO is the fastest ever road going Ferrari, ever to come out of the Italian design house. It also boasts the quickest lap time at the Fiorano race track of any street legal Ferrari. With a top speed of over 200 miles an hour and a 0-62mph time of 3.2 seconds it is very easy to see how it has set those records, very impressive.
The cabin is mostly carbon fiber and everything else is wrapped in tan Italian suede, It’s a race car with a lavish touch, it does have air conditioning and a radio. Half the joy in driving one of these beasts is to hear that perfectly tuned Ferrari motor at speeds. I personally don’t think there is a more beautiful sounding engine. The Ferrari 599 GTO with loads of power on tap and abundant good looks puts this car firmly perched at the top of the food chain in its class. This is definitely a car ever KASANOVA should own, after all I have never heard any women say they don’t dream of being in a Ferrari.
